Just as these hymns have been a source of comfort for me in seasons of discouragement, I hope they can be the same for you. I’ve created these simple acoustic arrangements for weary hearts to have a safe place to breathe and rediscover peace.Â

About Addy
Growing up in Orlando, Florida in a musical family, Addy developed a love for music early. She began playing piano at four, added oboe in middle school, and eventually found guitar and songwriting as a young adult.
Â
After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Commercial Music, Addy moved to Nashville in 2019. Since then, she has held two publishing deals and earned cuts across pop, country, Christian, and Americana music.
Â
In 2024, Addy made the difficult decision to walk away from her publishing deal. What followed was a season of uncertainty that ultimately led her back to some of the songs that had shaped her childhood and faith. A simple acoustic hymn shared online connected deeply with listeners and grew into The Hymns Project.
The hymns have been an unexpected blessing and an important part of Addy’s story, but they are only the beginning. At heart, Addy is a singer-songwriter. Her next chapter will include original music and new collaborations as she explores a Spiritual Americana sound shaped by faith and the honest human experience.
Â
Whether interpreting an old hymn or writing something entirely new, her goal remains the same: to create music that gives people a place to feel safe, understood, and at rest.
